Yet another band from the blood soaked soil of Finland emerges! Now, this is Finnish Black Metal through and through, but Sacrificium Carmen definitely have their own thing going on. Traces of Thrash are apparent throughout, especially in the second track “Öisen Haahkan Liekeissä”, with guest vocals by Horna’s Spellgoth. Vocally these guys set themselves apart from the typical Finnish stuff as well, though you could easily put them up there with the highest echelons of the scene. “Julman Sanasta” is another thrasher that will get your head banging and fist pumping. You don’t have to listen to all Black Metal staring at the ground and being all grim and shit, y’know? This is totally headbanging Black Metal. All throughout the record, nothing boring, nothing that even resembles filler. Just pure, kick ass Black Metal. Find it and worship it!
